Your priority for housing

The Council will give highest priority to those in the highest housing need.  We look at where you live, the conditions you live in and how many bedrooms you need for your household. Our Allocations Policy set out how we give priority for housing.

We have four priority bands:

Band 1 – (Emergency need for housing)

Band 2 – (Serious Need for housing)

Band 3 – (Need for housing)

Band 4 - (Lower need for housing)

What to do if you are not happy with a decision

If you are not happy with a decision that we make, you can ask us to review the decision.
